My Dear Cousin:
Your epistle dated
Jan 27th reached me some time ago
and sure was glad to hear from you
again, even though I didnt answer
your precious letter. By this I see
you haven't lost your good nature
even though you are a school marm.
Good Lord but the parents of
those scholars (should I say pupils?)
must have drilled patience into them
and then plugged the opening. Of
course I'm judging then by myself as
you doubtless are aware of the vast
amount of patience I am blessed with.
Just like Uncle Scott when the
binder breaks on the fourth to last
lap the clouds getting badly bent
and darkness in 10 minutes.
Every time Nettie writes she mentions
