and with his rifle, face and hands,
stained, creep right up to me,
to within a few yards of me and
I could see nothing. An experienced
eye might have noticed him. The
art of creeping on one's stomach is
quite a study in itself.

Bayonet fighting, boiled down
to the art it is now, requires a
tremendous amount of practice, and
certainly develops speed, strength,
and accuracy.

The details such as bombing,
sniping, scouting, machine gun
work, signalling require considerable
head work as well as practice.
