Well Nettie, I hope you have
kept working at those topics you
asked me to make a paper on. You
might as well try to dance while
forking manure as try to do a stunt
like you asked me in this environment.
I have no books to go to, & if I am
kept going as I have been, I have no
time.

However I am going to write out
a little (out of my head) and send
it to catch Fridays mail from here, &
I think you ought to get it in time,
& the points I make might help you.
I will do my best under the
circumstances. I haven't one third
the time to myself I had the first
few months after landing, & am
beginning to despair of getting rid of
my correspondence.

Tell Allan I will watch for the tobacco.
By the way, I think I am transferred to
B company, but A Company will get
me just the same. I don't know for certain
yet. Well Nettie I must close with love
