Camp Borden, Aug 10, 1916.
Dear Sister;
Received the letter and card O.K. You see we are here yet. We are becoming a restless bunch and if we do not get out of here soon I don't know what will happen. A lot of the boys (mostly those who only had one leave in July) want another leave, but the rest of us don't want leave and I am one of them. I am taking bombing these days. We had another inpection by Gen. Logie, and "C" Coy. got the first inspection owing to having done so well at the other. We came out best again with "B" Corp. second best.
Am sending four badges

Am sending some plain badges like that on my cap to some of the girls. They can have them gilded at a jewellers if they wish.

How is the harvest coming on? Tell Allan I will write to him soon and I will write to Norman sometime.
Hope mother isn't worrying for it is the most senseless thing I know of. Hope father keeps well. & heaps of love to you all.
Your brother.
