Penetanguishene 20th April 1845

Dear Brother

this[these] few Lines is to let you know that
I am just of on the start to go at work for my Grandfather lands. I am
Determined to get them or to know how the Company got Possestion[possession]
of them Lands I depend on what you told me that you never
Sold that part. I have sent to yellow head and snake for their
Signature. I will have to send you the same petition for your signature
I hope you will have no objection. I will not send to you before I get
your answer, we have nothing here of any thing worth mentioning
we here all well and maid[made] plenty of sugar
