Prince St.
Jamaica Plain, Mass

To Woodrow Wilson President of the United States

Dear Mr. President

I beg of you to give thought
to the segregation of negros which
is taking place in the Departments
of our National Government.

I know of course you can
not give personal attention
to all details of government
but this is so fundamental!
It is contrary to your idea of
democracy! It must be as
repulsive to you as to me
