The President,
The White House.

Dear Mr. President:-

I am in Washington for a few days and am
still so vitally interested in the whole Russian situation that
it would please me very much if you felt that you could give me
a little time to talk with you direct in regard to it. I have
been so much impressed with the broadness of your attitude
towards Russia that I am anxious to give you some new phases
of the situation that appeal strongly to me, and which, I am
sure, should be called to your attention.

I am,

Yours very respectfully.
