Princeton, New Jersey,

10 March, 1900

My dear Mr. Moffatt,

Of course the accounts are all right. For the last four weeks all my thoughts and energies have been absorbed by the illness in my family, and you must forgive me my remissness. I am sincerely sorry to have been the cause of any inconvenience to you.

I am still more sorry to see your note dated from the Infirmary.

I sincerely hope that nothing serious is the matter, and that you will soon be out.

With warm regard,

Faithfully Yours, Woodrow Wilson

Mr James Hugh Moffatt.
