Princeton, New Jersey, 27 November, 1899.
My dear Mr. Moffatt,
I know Dr. Shaw very intimately; and if you will tell me which debater is to be sent to see him I will take pleasure in giving him a personal letter of introduction. He is somewhat hard to catch in his office: the letter of introduction had better be sent forward by mail and a time for the interview appointed by correspondence.
I think that it will be very much to the advantage of the debaters if they will see Professor Vos of the Seminary. He is a Dutchman, is very much interested, of course, and can give them, I have no doubt, some extremely useful advice.
Sincerely Yours,
Woodrow Wilson
