Baltimore, April 24. Dear JimYour letters came last night and this morning and I enclose the results of my search. Neither the Sun nor Herald give any account of a game played June 18th 1889 and you evidently have the wrong date. The Sun of the 20th mentions the Princeton Commencement as

recurring on June 19th so it isn't likely the team played here the day before Commencement. I could find no record of a game at any time around the 19th. You will notice that I have spelled the names of some of the players differently in different games but I send them as I found them in the paper and you can make the proper conections probaby. from here. If Rusty is following in my footsteps he is doing well as work is a good thing and keeps me out of mischief. You ask about Tommy. I heard from him over a month ago and he was grumbling at law and praying in golf. Taylor is the only fellow I've heard from lately - besides Tommy - and he is making plans for going to Princeton on the 9th of June. When do you expect to get out the book? If I can help you in any way be sure and let me know. Sincerely, Hunter Boyd Jr P.S. The next time you send four cents worth of mail with a twocent stamp I will send the due stamp back C.O.D. H.B.
