Mr. Jones Hugh Moffatt,

Very Dear Mr. Moffatt; -

I am sorry to say that the gym team of 84-85 was never took. At least I have not reconciliation of such taking, and do not possess a picture of the team as I would probably, if it had been photographed. In that year, E.K. Blades took the general gymnastics prize. Benjamin Smith the heavy weight, and R.E. Carter the light weight prize. All these were of the class of 85. The team that year gave a special exhibition of gymnastics at the Pottstown School, the Hill School. That is about all there is to the gymnastic history of the class. I am sorry that I can not favor you with a picture of its talent.
