My Dear Mr. Moffatt; - The best I can say for the date of the Hill School exhibit is the Winter of 1884. It was not in 1885 now that I come to look it up. It must have been in January or February 1884. For it was Winter, and Nassau 84 was one of our team as I distinctly remember, and he did not stay on in to the next year I feel quite sure. George Goldie, the trainer, and five men I believe formed the team: they were W.L. Nassau 84 E.K. Blades 85. E.H. Wilson 85 R.E. Carter 85. and I think B. Smith 85.

I have not individual picture of C.W. Bird Caption of the '85 foot ball team. I have a picture of the team with his picture of course included, which I can send on if it is necessary, but that you could get in Philadelphia. Wannamaker has one, and probably also an individual picture of Bird. Address Rod Wannamaker at the store.
