Dear Jamie.
I have just finished my notes of preparation of Sat, so will jot you a few lines before Lunch.
You seem to be championing the lame ducks at a great rate. I hope you will let them all to do good work. I suppose next week you will take your half doz to Princeton. I see Woodrow W. is to be inaugurated as Pres, Oct 25.
As I will be at Wilmington Del at Symons from the 20th to 23d I may be tempted to see your boys & [page torn] on to Princeton; the only trouble [page torn ]is that it is on Saturday: but [bottom line missing]

Mother & Ethel have run the house this week and both seem to be in good shape, Mother feet have not bothered her, as I feared.
Ralph is making hay in our neighbors back-yard. He expects to go up to Mrs Kaykendall on next Wed. Fanny will be in for the trip, as Ma Bet is going with the double team in 6 down to Petersburg, Montford &c.
