Your letters came this morning and I am attending to the various things you wish. While I am sorry you are no better I realize that a collapse was inevitable after rushing the way you have done of late. Don't be in too much of a hurry to get back. You have learned your lesson of that or ought to have. It will pay you to lay off until recovered. I have tendered your resignation and Joe Jones is going to propose my name for the

vacancy. I don't know how it will be to wear your shoes your feet are pretty big but I suppose I shall make a stab at it. In view of your retirement it is necessary that you should advise me at once as to what faculty men you have been notifying of trials, meetings etc and just how much they are willing to do. Also as to whether you have selected & notified any judges for the Inter Hall. The debate com meet Saturday and chose Covington as the official coach. It was done with a groan but Perry, Fine

The Yale banquet is off. Doc has just found out that the Apr. Lit will cost $2.50 or $3 a page and says the trip is out of the question. I am not grievously disappointed though I should have enjoyed the trip. I also enclose a N.Y. letter which I opened by mistake.

A letter from Hodges makes an appointment for tomorrow I will reply at once. Also to

Cayler & to Jack. If there is anything I ought to know about The Deb. Com please notify me at once. Where do you keep correspondence etc if there is any?

Jalcott Williams is at Bliss Perry's Thursday night at 8:15 Perhaps I will go.

Stanlaws Poems were pretty bum I thought but I will see [D??l ].
