March 28, 1901.

James Hugh Moffatt, Esq., 4335 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Sir:

I have read the proof, which is herewith enclosed. I find that you have omitted all reference to the fact that Dartmouth was a member of the League. The League was composed of Amherst, Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton and Yale, and each member of the League was obligated to play two games. Dartmouth had an excellent nine that year and always put up a strong game against us.

I also notice that you make no reference to one of the games with Brown. I am giving my recollection of these matters, which of course is very uncertain, but it is to the effect that the only games that our nine lost in '82 was the first game to Amherst and the last in playing off the tie for the championship with Yale. We won all others.

I should think so long as you are giving account of the games played that it would be necessary to have the games with Dartmouth as well as both games with Brown included.
