16: Fresh breeze N. West these 24 hours with clear fine weather - Sea smooth - Keeper examining and picking out out the good empty coal Oil cases and cans - And threwing the bad cans over the bluff - Had 4 visitors - 2nd ass't showing visitors in the Tower - The barometer 30.05 today - 1st ass't went to Newport after supplies - U.S. Steamer Columbine crossed out of Yaquina at 6 P.M. and sailed away north. Hoisted the Ensign.
17: Moderate breeze to light wind N. West with heigh dry fog first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate breeze N. West clear fine weather - Sea smooth - Keepers putting good coal Oil cases from the celler in the barn - Keeper pollishing plate on Pedestell cleaning dust on clock and draw in watchroom.
18: Moderate breeze to light wind N.W. first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light variable winds and calm with fair and warm weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Keepers cleaning spare lamp and painting connecting tube of lamp - 1st ass't went fishing and to Newport to post mail - Keepers showing visitors in Tower - Had sixteen visitors - Barometer 30.02 today.
19: Moderate to fresh and strong breeze N. West thse 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - 1st and 2nd asst showing visitors in the Tower - Had twelve visitors - Steamer Farallone arrived from Sanfrancisco at 3 P.M. - Barometer 30.00.
20: Strong and fresh breeze N. West these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - 1st and 2nd ass'ts showing visitors in the Tower - Keeper went to Newport after supplies - 2nd ass't went to Newport after Mrs.??? Hermann's mother - Had 32 visitors - Barometer down to 29.85 today.

West clear fine and warm weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - 1st and 2nd ass't showing visitors in the Tower and putting Oil and supplies in Oil House and store room - 1st ass't also went fishing - Had twenty two visitors today - Mr. Jack McCullen hauling Oil and other supplies from Newport to the station today for 2.50 per ton - Steamer Manzanita landed annual supplies today at Newport - Keeper went to Newport to receive annual supplies.
26: Light variable and North winds these 24 hours with fair and warm weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper finding out the amount of supplies on hand at date of making delivery of supplies - 2nd and 1st ass't showing visitors in the Tower - Had 20 visitors today - Keeper stoying away Oil in Oil-House - 1st ass't went fishing - Mr. McCullen hauling Oil today - Barometer 29.88 today.
