10: During 24 hours - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - Keeper went to Newport after supplies and get the mail - Barometer 30.02 today - Mr Leaman cementing walks putting storm windows on front of Dwelling also corner boards on Keepers Dwelling
11: Moderate breeze to light wind N. West with clear fine and warn weather - Sea moderately smooth. Keepers changing and cleaning lamp and burner and all brass work - Also cleaning shavings??? and lumber from arround the Dwelling etc - Barometer 29.90 today
12: Light variable winds and calm first part of 24 hours - Last part of 2 hours moderate and fresh breeze N.West with thick damp fog during 24 hours - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Mr. Stimpson??? hauled two copper sinks & two traps and some lumber from Newport to the station - Barometer 29.82 today - Mr Leamon working on furnaces from Dwelling put a gate post in and other small repairs.
13: Moderate breeze N.W. to light South wind first part of 24 hours Last part of 24 hours light wind to moderate and fresh breeze N. West with thick damp fog during 24 hours. Sea smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 29.88 - Keeper went to Newport after supplies - Had no visitors today.
14: Moderate breeze to light N.West wind first part of 24 hours. Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze East with clear fine and very warm weather - Sea smooth - Keeper putting wood in his celler??? - 1st asst putting dresssing on his garden and went to Newport after after the mail - 2nd asst paingint clothes line post - Mr Leaman working on furnaces sinks slop hopper etc - Barometer down to 29.84 today
15: Fresh breeze East to light South wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours clear fine and very warm weather - Last part of 24 hours thick fog & cooler - Sea smooth - Keeper and 2nd asst painting cold air??? box and furnaces doors - 2nd asst also cleaning up his cellar doors & putting window cords on windows dressing on his garden & went fishing - Mr Leaman working on sinks in Keepers & 2nd asst quaarters putting hinges on cellar doors and fitting window cords on windows
