U.S. Light-House tender Manzanita passed by this light at 6.40 P.M. and crossed into Yaquina at 7.15 P.M.

10: Fresh and moderate breeze North these 24 hours with clear fine weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Had 24 visitors. Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in the Tower. 1st asst went to Newport after mail. Mr McCullen hauling lumber, Nails, etc from Newport to the station for repairs. Str Farallon sailed for San Francisco. U.S. Steamer Manzanita doing buoy work at Yaquina. Barometer 29.92.
