5: Light South wind these 24 hours. First part of 24 hours rain showers. Last part of 24 hours little damp. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. 1st asst went to Newport after supplies and went fishing. 2nd asst putting wood in his celler. Had 4 visitors. Barometer 29.94.

6: Light South wind, damp first part of 24 hours. Last part of 24 hours light variable winds and calm, fair and warm weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. 1st and 2nd assts showing visitors in the Tower. Had 21 visitors. Barometer 29.76 today.

7: Light variable winds and calm first part of 24 hours with high dry fog. Last part of 24 hours light wind to moderate breeze N.W. clear, fine and warm weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Keepers showing 53 visitors in the Tower. Barometer 29.98 to 30.05 today.

U.S. Light-House tender Manzanita passed by this light at 6.40 P.M. and crossed into Yaquina at 7.15 P.M.

9: Light wind to moderate and fresh breeze North these 24 hours with fair and warm weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Had two visitors today. Keeper went to Newport to have lumber & material hauled from Newport to this station. Barometer 30.04 today.

10: Fresh and moderate breeze North these 24 hours with clear fine weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Had 24 visitors. Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in the Tower. 1st asst went to Newport after mail. Mr McCullen hauling lumber, Nails, etc from Newport to the station for repairs. Str Farallon sailed for San Francisco. U.S. Steamer Manzanita doing buoy work at Yaquina. Barometer 29.92.

11: Moderate breeze to light wind these 24 hours with fair and warm weather. Sea smooth. General duties for the day. Keeper went to Newport to mail bill for hauling lumber from Newport to the Station. Steamer Manzanita doing buoy work inside of Yaquina. Mr Hermann showing visitors in the Tower. Had 48 visitors. 1st asst went up on the north beach for recreation. Barometer 29.83 today.
