Keepers painting the store house white and painted triming on the Keeper's dwelling. Had 2 visitors. 1st asst went fishing. Str Farallon sailed today. Barometer 30.15

Keepers painting the Dome iron railing on drum of Tower black also painted Water tank steps and celler doors on Keeperr's dwelling. Keepers putting stagging up to paint Bracketts on tower. Keeper and 2nd asst repairing pump in 2nd asst's Kitchen. Keepers cleaning paint work inside of the lantern getting ready to paint it. 1st asst went to Newport after mail & supplies. 27: Light North wind to moderate and fresh breeze N.West these 24 hours, some fog but mostly clear, fine weather. Sea mooth. Steamer Farallon arrived from San Francisco at 11.30 A.M. Barometer down to 29.88. 1st asst whitewashing the tight board fence. Keeper and assts painted the interior of the Lantern white. Keeper and 2nd cleaning and preparing walls inside of Tower to whitewash it.

28: Fresh to moderate breeze to gale N.West these 24 hours, some fog but mostly fair weather. Sea smooth. Steamer Farallon sailed for San Francisco at 1 P.M. Barometer 29.74 Keepers whitewashing inside of Tower also garden and other fences around the Station.

29: Fresh to moderate breeze N.West with fair weather first part of 24 hours. Last part of 24 hours moderate breeze to light wind S.W. to S. thick damp fog. Sea smooth. Keepers painting stairs and landing black today. 1st asst working on the road. Barometer down to 29.62 to 29.78

1: Moderate to fresh breeze N. to N.West these 24 hours with clear, fine weather. Sea smooth. Keepers went to Newport to vote. 1st asst Whitewashing fences and working on the road. Barometer down to 29.95 today. Keeper & 2nd asst returned to station 2.30 P.M.

2: Fresh to moderate breeze North first part of 24 hours. Last part of 24 hours moderate breeze to light North wind with clear, fine weather. Sea smooth. Keeper & assts painting iron railing and floor outside of tower and stairs landing black. Also cleaned out paint shop & painted trimings of Wagon house. 1st asst went to Newport after mail. Barometer down to 29.80
