General duties for the day. 1st asst went to Newport on his way to Portland to see a Doctor, he being sick. Left station at 9 A.M. Keeper went to Newport. 2nd asst's little son has the scalltime???

Light House Tender Manzanita passed by this Light at 8.30 A.M., crossed into Yaquina, placed a byou on the bar, crossed out at 1 P.M. and steamed north.
