18: Light South wind thick fog and rain showers - Sea rough - Keeper sawing wood on beach - Barometer 29.96 to 30.00 today.

19: Light West to N. West wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fog showers - Last part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Sea moderately smooth - Keeper sawing wood on the beach and went to Newport on important business - Barometer 30.22.

20: Light East to North wind these 24 hours with clear fine weather these 24 hours - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - 2nd ass't went to Newport after mail and supplies - Barometer 30.20 to 30.15 - 1st ass't sawing wood 2nd ass't U.S. Light House Tender Columbine passed station at 5 P.M. going south.

21: Light N.E. to S.E. wind to moderate breeze South clear fine weather first part of 24 horus - Last part of 24 hours fair and cloudy - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.998 to 29.88 today - 1st ass't went fishing - U.S. Light House Tender Columbine laying off Yaquina bar this morning and entered at 1:30 P.M.

U.S.L. House Engineer W. C. Langfitt and G. W. Freeman arrived at station at 10 A.M. Inspected and left at 11 A.M. for Newport.

26: Light N. and East wind these 24 horus with clear fine and cool weather - Sea quite smooth - 2nd ass't went over to big creek? on business - 1st ass't went fishing - Keeper cleaning out his Chicken-house - Keeper and 1st ass't stowing away material for repairs - Mr. Woodard hauling material for repairs - Barometer 29.90 - Keeper and 1st ass't tearing down the old rotten tramway - U.S.S. Columbine came out of Yaquina at 7 A.M. and steamed north.
