1: Fresh breeze S. to S. W. and West these 24 hours with hard rain - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.80 to 29.60.

2: Moderate W. to light variable winds with rain and hail showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze S.W. rain hail & snow squalls - Sea smooth - Keeper and 1st asst changing ??? ??? & ???- Barometer 29.60 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail and supplies.

3: Light S.E to N. West wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours rain & snow showers - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.55 to 29.90 - 2nd asst getting wood off the beach - 1st asst went to Portland on important business - Left sta at 8.A.M.

4: Moderate to fresh breeze S.W. to South these 24 hours with rain - Sea rough - Barometer 29.85 - 2nd asst workign in shop - Keeper writing in office today.

5: Heavy gale S to S.W. with hard rain first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze West rain hail and snow squalls - sea quite rough - 2nd asst went to Newport after supplies & mail - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.40 to 29.76.

6: Moderate and fresh breeze W. to N. West these 24 hours with frequent rain and hail squalls - general duties for the day - Barometer 29.70 to 29.98 - 2nd asst made and attended fire in heater in watch-room - Keper went to Newport after mail & supplies.
