1: Light wind to moderate fresh breeze South these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours rain showers - Sea moderately smooth - Keeper went trout fishing - 2nd ass't went hunting - 1st ass't showing four visitors in Tower. Barometer 29.70.

2: Moderate and fresh breeze to light gale first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours fresh breeze South with rain showers during 24 hours - Sea quite rough - 1st ass't burning old hay - 2nd ass't cleaning and painting in his Quarters - Keeper cleaning in his Quarters - Keeper and 2nd ass't spadeing garden.
