18 Moderate breeze to light north wind these 24 hours with heigh dry fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.96 - Keeper and assts showing visitors in the tower - Had seventy one visitors - U.S. Light House tender Columbia arrived of the bar at 11.55 and entered Yaquina at 1.30 P.M.

19 Moderate breeze to light north wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Last part of 24 hours fair weather and little smoky - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.02. Keeper went to Newport after supplies - 1st and 2nd assts receiving and stowing away supplies - Mr. Thompson hauling supplies - 1st and 2nd assts showing visitors in the tower - Had twenty four visitors.
