1 Light S. east wind with frequent rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours fresh breeze east fair - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.80 - 1st asst went fishing - General duties for the day - 2nd asst went for a short walk today.

2 Light S.E. to South wind there 24 hours - First part of 24 hours light rain and thick weather - Last part of 24 hours damp and fair weather - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - 1st asst went to Newport and showing one visitor in tower - Barometer 29.80 to 30.00 today.

3 Light S. east wind to fresh breeze south these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fair weather - Last part of 24 hours rain - Sea quite rough - Barometer 29.80 - General duties for the day - 2nd asst cutting wood for Keeper and Assts.

4 Fresh breeze to gale south with rain first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate breeze to light west wind damp and fair weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.40 to 29.72 today - Keeper writeing in the office.

5 Light W. to S. east wind to fresh breeze south these 24 hours with rain - Sea rough - Barometer 29.70 to 29.60 today. General duties for the day - 2nd asst Ewald Glass went to Newport after mail and supplies.

6 Moderate breeze to light S. east wind with hard rain first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze S to S. west with rain squalls - Sea rough - Barometer 29.60 to 29.50. General duties for the day - Keeper working on requisetion for annual supplies.

7 Moderate breeze S. W. to light S. east wind with rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze south with rain squalls - Sea rough. General duties for day - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - Barometer 29.45 to 29.65.

8 Fresh breeze and gale with rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light east wind to moderate & fresh breeze S. rain - Sea rough - Keeper and assts putting 200 gallons of mineral oil in oil butts - Barometer 29.85 to 29.55 - 2nd asst went to Newport for recreation - Left sta at 2.P.M. - 1st asst went fishing.

9 Gale to fresh breeze S. to S. west these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours hard rain - Last part of 24 hours frequent rain showers - Sea very rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.50 to 29.80 - 2nd asst returned to the station at 1 P.M.

10 Light S. east wind to fresh breeze east these 24. First part of 24 hours light rain - Last part of 24 hours fair and hard rain - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.90 to 29.45 - Keeper & assts doing house work.

11 Fresh breeze east to gale south with rain first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light S. west wind light rain showers and fair - Sea very rough - Barometer 29.40 to 29.60 - 1st asst went to Newport after mail and supplies - General duties for the day - Keeper working on annual requistion for supplies. 2nd asst went to Newport for recreation - Left the station at 4. P.M.

12 Fresh breeze south to S. west these 24 hours with frequent rain and hail squalls - Sea rough - General duties for the day. Barometer 29.60 to 30.00 - Keeper working on requisition for annual supplies - 2nd asst returned to sta at 11.30 A.M. - 1st asst scrubbing out his quarters.
