1 Moderate breeze to light north wind these 24 hours with thick damp fog - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.98 to 30.10 - Keeper and 1st asst showing visitors in the tower - Had thirty six visitors - 1st asst getting wood on beach & digging potatoes.

2 Light wind to moderate and fresh breeze north these 24 hours with thick damp fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.10 to 30.04 - 1st asst went over on south beach picking up wood to have hauled to sta - Also showing four visitors in tower.

3 Fresh and moderate breeze north these 24 days with thick fog and fair with some smoke - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.04 to 29.88 - General duties for the day - 1st asst hauling wood from the beach - Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies.
