18 Light south wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours light rain - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.26 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail and supplies - 1st asst working in shop & garden.

19 Light east & north wind dry & fair - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.40 to 30.35 - 1st asst went two miles from the station to pick berries - Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies - 2nd asst working in his quarters.

20 Light north wind dry & fair - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.35 to 30.20 - Keeper working in his part of garden - 1st and 2nd assts cleaning out shop and store house - 2nd asst putting up stove in his quarters - 1st asst working in barn.

21 Light wind to moderate and fresh breeze east these 24 hours with clear fine and warm weather - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Keeper writeing in office - 1st and 2nd assts cleaning in there quarters - Barometer 30.20 to 30.03.
