1. Light East wind these 24 hours with fair and warmer weather- Sea very smooth- Barometer 29.99 to 30.00- General duties for the day- 1st asst and Keeper working and planting garden- 2nd asst went 3 miles from Sta on important business.

2. Moderate breeze South to N. West these 24 hours with light rain during 24 hours- Sea little rough- Barometer 29.98- General duties for the day - 2nd asst spadeing in his garden- Keeper went to Newport to post Pay ??? and get supplies.

3. Light North wind these 24 hours- First part of 24 hours little damp- Last part of 24 hours clear fine weather- Barometer 29.98 to 30.10- General duties for day- 2nd asst went six miles up the north beach to see his Brother on business.

4. Moderate and fresh breeze South these 24 hours- First part of 24 hours little damp- Last part of 24 hours rain- Sea smooth Barometer 30.10 to 30.2- 1st asst taking cover off of boat Pilcases- 2nd asst working in Barn and shop- Keeper washing and getting wood on beach.

16 warm weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.80 to 30.06 - 2nd asst working in the shop. Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies - 1st asst returned to the sta at 3:30 P.M. from Portland on business. 2nd asst showing two visitors in tower.

17 Light S. east and variable winds these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.06 to 29.88 - General duties for the day - 1st asst went to Newport on important business - 2nd asst went to Toledo on important business - Left the station at 7 A.M.

18 Light variable winds these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.88 to 29.60. Keeper and 1st asst mixing paint to paint structues at sta - Keeper also washing - 2nd asst returned to the station at 6:30 P.M.

Keeper getting wood on the beach at station and writeing in office - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail & supplies.

20 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.10 - Keeper and assts whitewash fences - U.S.Light House Tender Manzanita passeed sta at 1:30 P.M. past whistling buoy at Yaquina & steamed south at 3:45 P.M.
