19 Light W.N. west and west wind these 24 hours with rain & snow showers - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.44 to 29.70 today. Keeper working on annual requisition for supplies to light house Inspector - 1st asst working in shop - Keeper & 2nd asst getting wood on the beach.

20 Light north west wind these 24 hours with rain snow and hail showers - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.70 to 30.14 - 1st and 2nd assts taking covers off of coal oil cans to empty them - 2nd asst making himself a flowering garden north of his dwelling - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - 1st asst working in the shop.
