19 Light north to S. east wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.40 to 30.20 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail & supplies.

20 Light wind to fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours some fog and fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 29.92 - Keeper & 2nd asst getting wood on beach - 1st asst working in his quarters.

21 Light north wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours fair and some fog - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 29.92 to 29.62 - Keeper working in garden - 1st asst went to Newport after mail & supplies - 2nd asst getting wood on the beach.

22 Light south wind and fresh breeze these 24 hours with light rain - Sea quite smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.62 to 29.90 - 1st asst went one mile from sta after potatoes - 2nd asst went to Newport for recreation - Left sta at 4 P.M.
