16 Moderate breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather & heigh dry fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.90 to 30.00 - 1st asst went to Newport after mail & supplies - Keeper & 2nd asst showing 32 visitors in tower - 2nd asst stowing oil in oil house.

17 Moderate breeze north these 24 hours with heigh dry fog and fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.15 - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - 1st asst working in garden - 2nd asst getting wood on beach.

18 Fresh & moderate breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Last part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Sea smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 30.15 to 29.95 - Keeper & 1st asst showing 25 visitors in tower - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail & supplies.

22 Light north wind to fresh breeze north these 24 hours heigh dry fog & fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 30.10 to 30.00 - 1st asst showing 30 visitors in tower - 1st asst working in garden - Keeper and 2nd asst went 3 miles from the sta to paint on keepers dwelling - Keeper left the sta at 6:30 A.M. to do some painting on his dwelling 3 miles from sta.

23 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick fog showers - Last part of 24 hours heigh dry fog & fair - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.00 - Keeper returned to sta at 4:30 P.M. - 2nd asst painting on keepers dwelling 3 miles from sta - 1st asst showing 38 visitors in tower.
