1 Light south wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Last part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.90 - Keeper returned to sta at 5:30 P.M. - 1st asst showing 93 visitors in tower - 2nd asst went 3 miles from sta on important business.

2 Light south wind these 24 hours with thick fog showers - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.92 to 30.00 today - 1st and 2nd assts showing visitors in the tower - Had 27 visitors - 1st asst working in his part of the barn - Keeper working in his quarters - 1st asst W.P. Ford went to Newport after mail and supplies - Keeper cleaning in his part of the barn.

3 Light variable winds these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog -Last part of 24 hours fair and warm - Sea smooth - General duties for day - 1st asst making a cow corall - 1st & 2nd assts cleaning brass cans - Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies.

10 Light south wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick fog - Last part of 24 hours fair weather and light rain shower - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.22 - Keeper returned to station at 1:30 P.M. - 1st and 2nd assts putting fences away in cellar that were torn down.
