18 Light wind to moderate and fresh breeze north these 24 hours with thick damp fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.08 to 30.02 - 1st asst showing 9 visitors in tower and taking covers off of oil cases - Keeper working on quarterly reports.

19 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours with thick damp fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.02 to 29.95 - 1st asst went to Newport after mail and supplies - Keeper working on quarterly reports and getting wood on beach at station.

20 Light north wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick damp fog - Last part of 24 hours fair and heigh dry fog - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.95 to 29.88 - General duties for the day - Keeper and 1st asst putting 200 gallons of oil in oil butts - Keeper working on quarterly reports to Inspector and Engineer - 1st asst showing 6 visitors in tower and went one mile from sta to get honey out of bee hives.
