1 Moderate to fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Last part of 24 hours clear fine weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.10 - Mr. Laughead completed putting flag staff up - Keeper & 1st asst getting clams on beach.

2 Fresh breeze north to light south wind these 2 hours - First part of 24 hours clear and fine - Last part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.12 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail & supplies - Keeper & 1st asst went fishing.

3 Light variable winds with fog showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours fresh breeze north fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.12 to 30.20 - Keeper & 2nd asst went fishing - 1st and 2nd assts saveing ??? to sod around work shop and work shop - 2nd asst taking covers off of coal oil cases - Mr. Laughead grading a place to put work shop and store houses - 1st asst went to Newport for recreation - Left the station at 5 P.M.

4 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours with heigh dry fog these 24 hours - Sea quite smooth - General duties for day - Barometer 30.20 to 29.92 - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - 1st asst returned to sta at 7.00 A.M. - Mr. Laughead working on foundation of work shop.

5 Fresh and moderate breeze north these 24 hours with heigh dry fog - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.92 to 29.70 - Mr. Laughead laying foundation for store house & workshop - 2nd asst showing six visitors in the tower.
