28 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fair - Last part of 24 hours thick fog and fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for day - 1st asst cutting grass around dwelling - Barometer 27.82 - 2nd asst went over to keepers cottage to paper for him - Keeper returned to sta at 5:30 P.M.

30 Light wind to moderate breeze north these 24 hours clear fine weather - Sea smooth - 1st asst cleaning up the grounds & showing 21 visitors in the tower - Keeper went 3 miles to his cottage to paint the roof - Left sta at 7 A.M. - 2nd asst papering the keepers cottage - Barometer 29.92 to 29.84.

31 Light N. wind to moderate breeze east these 24 hours with clear fine & warm weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 29.84 to 29.78 - 1st asst working in the garden - 2nd asst went over to the keepers cottage to paper for him - Keeper returned to the station at 2:30 P.M. - Keeper Frank M. Plummer mailed his resignation as keeper at this sta to take effect September 30th on account of sickness.
