18 Moderate to fresh breeze S.E. to S.W. and west these 24 hours with rain and hail showers - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.78 to 29.88 - 2nd asst hunting geese - 1st asst went one mile from sta on important business & showing two visitors in the tower.
19 Light S. east wind to fresh breeze south these 24 hours with light rain showers - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.08 to 30.02 - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies - Left sta at 9 A.M. - 1st asst working in the shop & in his quarters.
20 Fresh breeze to light gale south these 24 hours with light rain showers - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.02 to 30.04 - Keeper returned to the station at 11 A.M. 2nd asst washing & working in his quarters.
