1 Light to squalls north west wind rain. Sea mod. Bar 29.99. Keeper working in shop. 1st asst gathering berries. 2nd asst showing 4 visitors in tower.

2 Light north west wind clear dry. Sea mod. Bar 30.01. 1st left station 9:00 AM. 2nd asst showing 2 visitors in tower. Keeper working in his quarters.

3 Light north west wind dry. Sea mod. Bar 30.04. 1st asst returned to station 5:00 PM. 2nd asst working in his garden. Keeper went to Newport for mail sent lens lamp & carrier strainer to Engr to be repaired.

4 Light north west wind to calm dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.16. General duties for the day. 4 visitors shown in the tower.

5 Calm to light north west wind dry heavy swell. Bar 30.22. Keeper 1st & 2nd asst putting 20 cases of oil in butts cleaning office windows floor & hallway. 2nd asst showing 12 visitors in tower.

6 Calm to light north west breeze to calm dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.12. Keeper went three miles from station. 1st asst working in shop. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail.

7 Calm to light north wind to calm smoky dry. Sea very smooth. Bar 29.92. Keeper 1st and 2nd asst cutting grass polishing brass around the lantern.

8 Calm to light south wind dry smoky. Sea smooth. Bar 30.12. Keeper and 2nd asst changing burner on lens lamp. 1st asst went to Newport for mail.

9 Calm to light west wind dense fog damp. Sea smooth. Bar 30.10. 1st asst cleaning oil carriers. 2nd asst showing 4 visitors in tower. Keeper washing runner???

10 Calm to light west wind dense fog damp. Sea smooth. Bar 30.01. 1st asst & 2nd asst working in there quarters. Keeper went to Newport for mail. 2nd asst left station at 5:00 PM.

11 Light south east wind dense fog damp. Sea smooth. Bar 29.98. General duties for the day. 1st asst went to Newport for mail. 2nd asst showing 7 visitors in tower. 2nd asst returned to station at 9:00 AM.

12 Light to half gale from south east rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.91. General duties for the day. Keeper 1st & 2nd asst working in there quarters.

13 Strong southerly to south west wind increasing to a gale at 8:00 PM. Rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.38. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail. 1st and Keeper working in there quarters.

14 Strong south to south west gale. Sea rough. Rain. Bar 29.50. General duties for the day. Keeper and 1st asst working in their quarters. 2nd asst went fishing.

15 Squalls variable westerly winds rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.72. General duties for the day. 1st asst cleaning lens burner. Keeper washing. 2nd asst went fishing & showing two visitors in tower.
