1st Light north east breeze dry. Sea mod. Bar 30.45. Keeper and 2nd asst getting wood on the beach. 1st asst sawing wood.

2 Light north east breeze clear dry mod west swell. Bar 30.20. 1st and 2nd keepers working in there quarters. Keeper left station for Newport at 10:30 AM.

3 Light to moderate north east breeze dry cold. Sea smooth. Bar 30.32. 1st and 2nd keepers working in there respt quarters. Keeper returned to station at 3:30 PM.

4 Mod east to south east wind rain misty. Sea smooth. Bar 30.15. Keeper working in his quarters. 1st asst working in barn. 2nd asst sawing wood.

5 Light south wind dry to showers. Sea smooth. Bar 30.19. Keeper 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters.

6 Calm to light east wind dry. Sea smooth. Bar 29.89. General duties for the day.

7 Calm to light east wind dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.12. Keeper and 1st asst sawing and splitting wood. 2nd asst showing 3 visitors in tower.

8 Light east wind dry to south west wind rain. Sea smooth. Bar 29.96. Keeper and 1st asst working in the barn. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail and supplies.

9 Calm to mod north west breeze showers. Sea mod heavy swell. Bar 30.32. Keeper, 1st and 2nd asst working in there quarters. General duties for the day.

10 Light to fresh south east wind rain. Sea mod. Bar 30.08. Keeper and 2nd asst sawing wood. 2nd asst showing 4 visitors in tower. 1st asst went to Newport.

11 Light to fresh via winds showers sea mod. Bar 30.14. Keeper & asst keepers working in there respective quarters.

12 Stormy south east wind rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.96. 1st and 2nd asst working in there quarters. Keeper went to Newport for supplies & mail.

13 South east to north west rain hail and snow squalls. Sea mod. Bar 29.70. General duties for the day.

14 Fresh north west breeze rain hail and snow squalls. Sea mod. Bar 30.30. Keeper and asst keepers working in there respective quarters. 20 cases oil put in butts.
