1st Fresh northerly breeze dense fog damp. Sea rough. Bar 30. Keeper and asst keepers showing 47 visitors in tower. 1st asst went to Newport for mail.

2nd Fresh northerly breeze smokey and dense fog. Sea mod. Bar 30. Keeper and 1st asst showing visitors in tower. 2nd asst sawing wood.

3 Light northerly wind fog. Sea smooth. Bar 30.04. 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters. Keeper went to Newport for mail.

4 Moderate north east breezy hazy smoke. Sea mod. Bar 30. Keeper 1st and 2nd asst showing visitors in tower. General duties for the day.

5 Light north wind hazy smokey. Sea smooth dry. Bar 30.06. 1st asst working in shop painting. 2nd asst showing 89 visitors in tower. Keeper went to Newport for mail.

6 Calm to light north east wind smokey dry. Sea smooth. Bar 29.98. Keeper polishing oil & air tank. 1st asst showing visitors in tower. 2nd asst went to Newport.

7 Calm to light variable east winds smokey dry. Sea smooth. Bar 29.90. 1st and 2nd asst polishing parts of new oil vapor oufit. Keeper went to Newport for mail.

11 Light south east wind sprinkles to lt north east wind. Sea smooth. Bar ???. General duties for the day. 25 visitors were shown in the tower.

12 Light north east wind dry smokey. Sea smooth. Bar 29.86. Keeper washing clothes. 1st and 2nd asst showing 18 visitors in the tower.

15 Light south wind dense fog & smoke dry. Sea calm. Bar 29. Keeper and asst keepers assisting Lampier installing new oil vapor lamp outfit. 1st asst went to Newport for oil tank. New oil vapor lamp was put in opperation at 6:12 PM.

16 Light south wind fog smoke showers. Sea smooth. Bar 29.92. Keeper and asst keepers assisting Lampier installing new oil vapor lamp outfit. Mr. E.L. Sherman Lampier left station at 7:30 PM.

17 Light south wind rain to dense fog. Sea smooth. Bar 30. 1st and 2nd asst keepers working in the shop. Keeper went to Newport for mail.
