unless it is done there will be no roof another season. I used the paint you sent me painting the front of the house and drawing the windows. Lumber can be obtained in SF and shipped here almost anytime Thro ?? JJ Minont ?? Mo??? Col ??? of lumber is furnished. I will put it in a payment ?? for $100.00 Please inform me if it is possible to have this improvement made.

Dear Sir

I beg leave to inform you that last winter the roof of woodshed became loose in places and the violent winds ripped them off. I renailed the whole roof replacing the last shingles with new of my own expense. During the recent storm the side of the portico roof exposed to the wind became loose and in a single night every shingle was blown off leaving the sheeting bare as the roof of the main building was put on about the same time and in the same manner. It is only a question of possibly another season when

You will confer a favor ?? by sending Capt Wass an order to burn over time the hand irons and fire fender belonging to the Yaquina Light Station. There is none in the Station now and it would be convenient to have them.

the main building roof will go, the nails used in putting on these roofs penetrate the sheeting only 1/2 inch where small and have rusted completely off ??? I call your attention to the urgent necessity of re-nailing the roof before the certainty of having no roof to nail.
