There is a stamp at the bottom of the page reading 'Office of the Light House Board' with a date of 'AUG 4 1871'. There's also some writing over and around the stamp that isn't fully legible. It looks like 'acknowledgement' with some signatures and 'arrived by telegram Aug 9'.
