The ground above proposed is according to the Coast Survey - 70 feet above low water. This would place the focal plane 145 feet above the sea. 3 - Plan of Dwelling - I would propose to adopt the plan of the Keepers dwelling now being built at Cape Disappointment, W.T. The plans, estimates, and specifications for which were forwarded to the Light House Board. 4 - The Lens - I would propose to be of the 1 st Order. Fixed. With arc of 225 (degrees). I enclose an elevation of the proposed Lighthouse. The details will be the same as in the Lighthouse at Cape Blanco. There is also enclosed an estimate of the entire cost of the Light House and dwelling. The work as proposed can be completed with the amount appropriated.

(obscured) July 3 / a LH 80 ft high above the ground & it will be sent you in a few days. -- It will be well for you to write to the contractor fm ^ your work for Pigeon Point LH not to destroy his patterns as you will ??? bids for Cape Foulweather or any early day (???). The floor plans will be sent you from the ??? by rail.
