Lies Detected It hath been reported in the County of Ontario that Richard Smith and John Briggs (word crossed out) hath become indebted to one of the District Attorneys of the western District in a large sum of money for and in behalf of the society of universal Friend, which ascertion is fals and without any Just foundation it is admited we became holden to the aforesaid attorney for one thousand Dollars on our own account for the Consideration of which he did not perform and we are the sufferers
