May it please your Honours

I am by necessity constraind to make appli cation to you for releife, and am embold -end hereto by your wonted goodness. The Times are so difficult with my People [?] what small allowance they make me is but very poorly paid. And I have been oblidged to repair my House which was very much hurt by a Storm Some time since, which obliged me to be at a considerable charge which I have not yet [cleard?] nor am I likely to be able to do it without considerable help- It hath been an expensive time [?] [?] on the account of the workmen whom I hired to [?] my House being obliged to board them- so that it hath greatly shortened my yearly provision for my family and I am not able by all the money I can get among my people went to [?] the [same?] gentlemen. I look upon my self as being very much under your Care in as much as I was by the Advise and a pitance of the [?] [?] Trustees at first [?] in their placeThus Gentlemen relying on your Bounty I rest your most Humble Servant-
