Eliza Ann has a daughter and call it Elenno-
ra Virginia, Aunt Betsey Burton is about
the same as she used to be but more disadisfied
Jane is living at Mr Stacy's in Jacksonville
and professes to be much pleased with her [?]
The widow Burtons family live six or eight miles from
us on a farm of a hundred and sixty acres but
we have no correspondence with them, Religion is
in a prosperous state in Jacksonville the Metho-
dists are building a fine meeting house conference
will be held in it next fall. Mother has [?]
very fine garden the most of the s[?] lived
which she braught with her. I will give you
a brief account of dear sisters death which hapend
last August she died after an illness of fourteen days of a

fever she appeared perfectly willing to submitt
to her fate and said she could not live a few days before
her death. she died perfectly in her senses
to the great distress of us all. I must draw to a close, give our
love to your brothers family and to your sister
