In Richmond Hustings Court, April 18th 1855.
On the motion of John Hope, a free man of
Color empancipated since the year 1806 who desires to
obtain leave to remain in the Commth. [Commonwealth] and reside in
this city, it is ordered that the justices of this Court
be summoned to attend here tomorrow to hear and
decide on said Application.
