terms, is a teacher & a gentleman, & Mr. [Sherrin ?] & others here, who are the best judges of his qualifications, and from their testimony in his favor & my own desire for his success, I am induced to call your attention to his plans. If you can advance his prospects in any way, theres no doubt you will find yourself fully justified in all you may say or do. M. [Masse ?] has the best of letters to Mr [Chesson's ?] friends in N.
