I am going to write to aunt Mary to-day

I finished my calico a week ago, and
mended my other dresses yesterday.
We do not have any lessons seventh day.
It is very warm, it seems as though I
was nothing but a grease spot. I have
got the hang of the place as Mr. Arentt said,
somewhat. The school and place is better
than I expected. The victuals are nice
and a plenty of them. We have steak
or roast meat or fish twice a day.
I have not been hungry at all, have not
had soup or hash yet, we have [mafrasses?]
which I like. I shall write to Mary soon.
How I hope she will get well. I hope thee
will write to me as often as thee can.
Thy letters do me more good than any
others I ever had. I fear thee was disappointed
in not going to Yearly meeting. With
