Confusion, seasick, chaos.

deal with one gun position --
prisoners taken - handed over to Army
unit. gave themselves up -- glad to
see Allies. no heart Didn't meet
any real Gerry until we were captured.

to save ammunition Had to bypass
German chateau HQ without being
observed. -- [Landed?] - saw crew of
damaged tank, brewing up [illegible]

Point 72 late at night dug in --
Nothing much happened only 1 casualty
All 1 troop got to point. Dig in on
high ground overlooking place.
Quiet amazed we got so far with
so litle trouble. Comparing it to
an ordinary exercise back home. "
