Lt. E. Lowes may require of you _ So far as to delivering up your Letters & Packets
for this Place to him & not allowing any of the Shore Boats to come along side or
any person to come on Shore from the Vessel untill you hear further from the

Companys Marine charged with Express Dispatches from Sir [Home] Popham, bring on board
Passenger _ I have conceived it the best opportunity for forwarding the Packets on board your Vessel

You will inconsequence be pleased to deliver to the Bearer the Bussora
& Bagdad Packets withs all the Private Letters you may have for those places _ that I may
deliver them in charge to Mr T. Blast

I have embraced this opportunity of forwarding the Bussora & Bagdad Packets
[50] from on board the Ternate to you [.] by the American Ship The Two Sons, who now proceeds
[51] I have given them in charge to Mr. [T.] Blast of the Honble [(Honorable)] Comp. Marine who is on Board
[52] charged with [?] Packets from Sir [Home] [Popham], Capstain of His Majestys Ship The [Rommy]

[53] The Two Sons leaves this tomorrow morning of the [strength] of this [?] [?]
[54] & by Her also comes Passenger to join his station at Bagdad Assistant Surgeon [?]

[55] No intelligence as yet has been received from the Persian Government
[56] The King has returned to [Taroonee] from [Korosané] & has subjected the whole of that Country
[57] except, [?] & two other Places - [Lemin] [Shaws] Brothers, [?]
[58] & [?], from [Candahar] & [Arant] have sent the King very considerable presents, which
[59] have been received & [Lemin] Shaws son has escaped and is now with the King at [Taroone]
[60] The marriage of two of his sons will shortly take place [.] We have no other news of any
